We lead every phase—from conceptual design to architectural finishes and furnishings—acting as both design partner and project advocate to get you to the final walk-through. Our detail-driven, transparent approach ensures a seamless experience and a result that’s as functional as it is personal.

Meet the Studio

Steph Flemming

[ Founder + Principal Designer ]

Steph brings a deep understanding of how form, function and feeling intersect within a space. Her ability to nerd out on the nitty gritty architectural details is not only what makes her stand out in the industry, it’s her favorite part of the job. With a degree in Interior Architecture, Steph brings a high level of knowledge and experience to every project.

Her early career shaped not only her technical expertise but also her belief in the powerful connection between a home’s architecture and its interiors. After working alongside some of Chicago’s leading Interior Designers and Architects, Steph founded her design firm a decade ago in Chicago.
While Steph was born and raised in Chicago, her love for outdoor activities brought her and Flemming Interiors to Denver. Outside of client work, you can find her playing soccer with her husband, traveling abroad or sketching floor plans while watching reality tv and drinking a glass of red wine.

Whitney Landrum

[ Project Manager ]

Whitney is driven to keep things organized, running smoothly, and clearly communicated from start to finish. Her goal every day is to make things easier for clients, trades, and her team—whether it’s providing a quick solution, keeping the process moving forward, or lightening the mood with one of her (admittedly terrible) jokes.

With over 20 years in the interior design industry, Whitney brings a wide range of experience to her role at Flemming Interiors. She’s worked as a sales rep at a slab yard, an outside tile rep, a showroom manager for a premier tile and stone studio in Ventura County, and as a representative for luxury custom furniture and textiles. Each role has given her a deeper understanding of the design process from all sides.
Outside of work, you’ll find Whitney reading crime novels, hanging with her black lab Thunder, practicing Muay Thai kickboxing, or spending time with her family—usually with a strong coffee in hand.

Jennifer Santillan Ocon

[ Junior Designer ]

Jennifer has a passion for creating visuals that are both impactful and meaningful, and she approaches each day with a readiness to learn and grow. After receiving her Master’s Certification in interior design she joined on as our Junior Designer. Jennifer loves transforming ideas into engaging experiences that resonate with our clients

Outside of the studio, she spends most of her time with her dog, Milo—a small pup with a big personality and endless love to give. He keeps life interesting and reminds her to enjoy the little things and stay open to new adventures. As a Colorado native, Jen brings a deeper understanding to what truly feels like a Colorado home.

Emery Flemming

[ Office Dog ]

As the four-legged heart of Flemming Interiors, Emery brings daily joy, stress relief, and the occasional squeaky toy to our Denver design studio. When Emery’s not in the office she likes long walks along the Platte River, playing ball, sneaking snacks and playing hiding and seek. While we’re dog lovers through and through, Emery skips the job sites to stay safe and sticks to the occasional office visit
